האינטרנט והרשתות החברתיות תפסו את הציבור החרדי לא מוכן. במשך כמה שנים הוא חדר פנימה בגרסה הפתוחה הבלתי מוגבלת שלו,
עד שיזמים זריזים גילו את הפוטנציאל בדמות אינטרנט מבוקר,
מצונזר ומסונן ברמות סינון שונות.
